Hello there! Welcome and thank you for checking us out! Our mission is to help people prioritize travel and unlock incredible experiences that enrich their lives and give back along the way! I founded truewander because I believe travel is pure magic and it has the power to change the way you see the world and create lifelong friendships and memories. Travel has played a significant role in my life inspiring me to keep learning, exploring and to never stop being curious.
I grew up in a military family moving several times and living overseas. I was fortunate to travel to many countries and experience other cultures. I knew early on that travel was my passion and I set out on a path to make it my career.
I attended Hotel School at Penn State University to learn as much as I could about the hospitality industry, traveling every chance I had. I started my career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and spent seven wonderful years working with luxury brands such as W, Westin and St. Regis. I moved into the online travel space and spent ten years with Expedia Group. I worked across several locations, lead fantastic teams and traveled across the US and the world helping hoteliers maximize their performance on our platform.
Needless to say I have many miles on my roller bag and can never have enough passport stamps – travel is my passion! truewander is all about creating fabulous trips to help people wander more, worry less. Where can we take you?

In high school, I took my first trip to Europe with my dad and I have been hooked on travel ever since! Raised in a small town in New Hampshire, I was completely awe struck by the architecture, food and culture of each city we visited. I attended Georgetown University and loved the melting pot culture of Washington DC with many of my classmates attending from across the globe. In my junior year, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia and traveled extensively during my 6 month program. Upon graduating, I worked as a Consultant for a DC firm where I learned the art of problem solving and tailoring solutions to meet my clients unique business requirements. Upon moving to the west coast, I joined a start up fitness company as Product Manager with a focus on designing bespoke solutions with the goal of creating unique fitness experiences for each customer.
Throughout my career, planning trips for myself and my family has always been my passion. I’ve organized everything from surfing trips to Costa Rica to trail running in Verbier, skydiving in New Zealand to touring castles in Portugal, and salmon fishing in Canada. My goal for every trip is to curate an experience that balances the pillars of adventure, relaxation and cultural exploration. I believe that travel should be an immersive experience that takes you a bit out of your comfort zone and creates both connections and memories that last a lifetime.
My home base is on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe, where I reside with my husband and two sons. In my downtime, I appreciate everything this outdoor playground has to offer, from trail running and camping to biking, skiing, and paddleboarding. I am incredibly excited to join truewander and leverage my unique background and passion for travel to create unforgettable experiences for our clients.
